There are many
ways you can help.
With many stray and abandoned
cats and kittens in the area desperately needing new homes,
your help is desperately needed.
With our policy of ensuring veterinary attention for all cats who come to us,
and insistence on fostering or rehoming rather than "put down" cats
for anything other than medical reasons or to ease suffering, our
operating
costs
are high.
Our branch is self-supporting so we raise funds
to pay for this by holding jumble sales, street collections and other activities.
We are always on the look-out for good quality items such as bric-a-brac, toys
and household items to sell at our fund-raising events. Please
note that donations should be made to this branch and not to head office is you
wish
to
support our work.
You could volunteer to
help at a fund-raising event, offer your vocal talents
by singing
in our "Cats Protection
Racket" choir, hold a coffee morning, do a car boot
sale or sponsored walk. If you have transport, why
not become a driver to take pet supplies to our foster
homes and
cats to the vets etc.
If you have ideas on other ways
we could raise funds, we would love to hear from you. (Preferably
with the words "I would like to organise..."
rather than "Why don't you do this idea...")

You could help financially by
sending a donation, sponsoring a cabin, buying our merchandise,
becoming a member, making a tax deductable
gift, or leaving money to this branch in your will. (Please
note that this branch must be named specifically, or donations
/ legacies go to the National Head Office).
Become a fosterer and help
us look after the cats we can take in until they can be
rehomed.
Adopt a cat and
give it a loving home. Many of our cats have led sorry
and miserable
lives and would welcome an
opportunity to be happy and learn to trust humans once
more.
If you would like to help or have any items you would like to donate for jumble
sales etc,
please
contact
Anita,
our
fund-raising
officer on 01273
508406.
